Collapsible--Flexible Solar Panel Kit Now you can make your own collapsible flexible solar panel as seen in the photo above. When assembled, this panel collapses to the size of one of the cells. You solder or tape them together and then encapsulate them with a piece of clear, high strength, Scotch tape on the front and back. This tape is used to hold them together and encapsulate them after soldering making a semi-flexible panel that collapses to a pocket size panel when not being used. The panel when completed would be 1.5" ( 38mm) x 4.75" ( 120mm ) when extended and 1.5 " x 1.5" when collapsed. A direction sheet is included. You supply your own tape.
